This policy covers the melicum.app website only. The Melicum app itself sets no cookies and collects no analytics; audio is processed on your Mac and never sent over the network.

These are required for the website to function correctly and cannot be disabled. This category also includes cookieless, anonymised page-view analytics via Matomo (self-hosted). No cookies are set, the last two bytes of your IP address are removed before storage, and no data is shared with third parties. This processing is based on legitimate interest (aggregate, anonymous traffic statistics), and also counts downloads and outbound link clicks.

Measurement Optional
Enabling this category upgrades the base cookieless tracking to full cookie-based analytics via Matomo. Persistent cookies allow us to recognise returning visitors and measure engagement over time. IP addresses are still anonymised and no data is shared with third parties.

Third-party content
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). They set no cookies, but like any web request they reveal your IP address to Google. Downloads and source code are hosted on GitHub; following those links takes you to GitHub, which has its own cookie policy.
Managing your preferences
You can review and change your cookie preferences at any time. Your current consent is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to any server.
You can also withdraw consent by clearing the melicum-cookie-consent entry from your browser's local storage, or by clearing site data for melicum.app. The consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
